As you can imagine, from the contents of my last post, getting home was a bit exciting. The good news is there is very little damage to my house, some things got chipped or broken but will be taken care of by insurance.
Aftershocks have continued constantly, and its wearing away at everyones nerves. Today (Sunday) has been particularly shakey.
I had a bit of stuff to deal with once I got back so haven’t really had the time or the headspace to work through my holiday photos. I took about 2000 and sat down tonight and had a good work through editing out the duds and unnecessary duplicates. I am about 2/3rds done and got it down to about 1100 photos approx.
Of course then I have to process them all as I shot in RAW!
So stay tuned for holiday summaries along with photos. Some highlights to look forward to:
– cupcakes as big as your head
– gelati all colours of the rainbow
– tiger cubs playing
– snow leopards
– assortd other zoo animals
– quite a few birds
– lots and lots of FABULOUS graffiti
– spectacular brick and stone architecture
