So for those of you wondering what on earth the images I posted in my last post would end up looking like, here you go…..

Same pattern, but different thread colours
You see the coloured bookmark that I showed on my Inside Challenge post, now completed with a horrible mistake clearly visible. Also the same pattern done in white with no mistakes YAY!

Completed white torchon ground bookmark
These are hard to take photos of with inside lighting. Next time I will try to use better daylight lighting so I can get a better aperture. Even at ISO500 these were limited to F3.2 and I didn’t want the ISO too much higher.
These are really lovely (even with the mistake – it adds character!). Well done! A bit different to your pics of the men hanging by meat hooks!
Thankyou, I am still very much learning and the mistakes are part of that. And yes, I guess you could say we have everything from the sublime to the ridiculous in images here 🙂 Hopefully something for everyone along the way!
These look wonderful. You’ve done a great job with them.
Thankyou, the hard bit was getting my head around the start. Once the first couple of rows were done it was easy from then 🙂
How clever are you? If you don’t make mistakes you’ll never make anything!!
Thanks Carolyn, hadn’t thought about it like that 🙂
Lovely items, they look so delicate.
Thankyou, the lace is actually surprisingly sturdy to feel. I use crochet cotton of a middle weight size so it has a bit of substance.
