Congratulations!!! Yes! Camera gear is heavy and I find that often times results in me leaving home without the lens I “really” needed for that day. I think this article is a super introduction into photography.
Hey Brenda, I seem to have missed your comment, yes, lenses can be heavy and then you have the added complication of finding the perfect camera bag to carry them in as well 🙂

Well written. I have responded to one naysayer – I hope you don’t mind. Instead of complaining he should just be out enjoying photography. Some people are so pedantic that they need to know everything all at once. As you wrote it is all about time and practice.
